Week 11 wasn’t our most successful with our waiver wire adds. Most were longshots, and we’re at the point in the season where there are pretty slim pickings. Depth charts are largely fixed, and the key cogs in each offense are pretty much set in stone.
Still, Week 12 has some opportunities, largely owed to injuries suffered over the weekend.
Emanuel Wilson
Emanuel Wilson and Chris Brooks shared running back duties when Josh Jacobs suffered a knee injury on Sunday. Jacobs isn’t expected to be out long-term, but it seems likely he will miss Week 12 at the very least.
Wilson rushed 11 times for 40 yards, scored a touchdown, and caught his only target for nine yards. His 70.9% snap count was by far his highest of the season. For context, he’d only been over 40% once in 2025.
Despite some good defensive numbers against the run, the Vikings, who are visiting Lambeau Field in Week 12, are middling in fantasy points conceded to running backs. Only a handful of teams have conceded more rushing yards.
Darnell Mooney
Drake London left Atlanta’s Week 11 game late on. He was ruled out soon after. Like Jacobs, it’s a knee injury, and an injury that is forcing London to get an MRI on Monday.
Reporting indicates it isn’t a massively serious injury, but it’s far from ideal for this Falcons’ offense when London had been unguardable. The knock-on is more targets for Darnell Mooney.
Mooney has been targeted 15 times over the last two games. He’s only averaging two receptions per contest, but he’s got a chance of grabbing six or seven passes if London is out against the lowly Saints.
Chig Okonkwo
Just 17 tight ends have more receptions than Chig Okonkwo. He’s tied for the 17th-most routes run at the position and his 13.55% target share is substantial for a player only rostered in 3.5% of fantasy leagues.
Okonkwo has more receptions than A.J. Barner, David Njoku, Dalton Kincaid, and Tyler Higbee. In Week 12, Tennessee is facing a Seahawks team that ranks below league average in fantasy points conceded to tight ends.
Cam Ward has rarely thrown to his tight end in the redzone (partly because the Titans haven’t spend much time there), but he becomes a good option against this defense.
Kenneth Gainwell
Worth just shy of 30 fantasy points in Week 11, Kenneth Gainwell was targeted eight times for seven receptions and rushed on nine occasions.
Jaylen Warren left Pittsburgh’s win over Cincinnati, and if Warren can’t go in Week 12, there’s an opportunity for Gainwell to pair his receiving work with additional carries from the backfield.
The Steelers are facing a Bears team that has been middling in points allowed to running backs but has been involved in some shootouts in 2025.
Packers Defense
Green Bay’s defense has forced at least one turnover in five consecutive games. They turned the Giants over twice in Week 11. In Week 12, they get to face the Vikings, who turned the ball over twice on Sunday and only mustered 265 yards of offense.
J.J. McCarthy has an ugly 5.7% interception rate. He was all over the place in Week 11. In five starts, he has four fumbles, while Minnesota’s running backs have also contributed five fumbles on the season.
This is the ideal matchup for Green Bay’s defense to record a few takeaways.
