Sandman Legend Picks: Week of Oct 23
Well, Robot Rob proved he might actually be human after all, finishing with just a .500 record, which by his standards counts as a slump. Meanwhile, our very human and very awesome legend Ken Wintermote led the pack with an impressive 7-3 mark. The group as a whole is feeling a good week brewing, and there are a few games where the consensus is loud and clear.
For the first time this season, ten of eleven Legends are backing the same side, the Chicago Bears, who are getting points on the road in Baltimore. Whether it is Lamar Jackson’s uncertain status, the Ravens’ 1-5 record, or growing belief in the Bears’ resurgence at 4-2, our crew is riding with the Monsters of the Midway. The lone dissenter is Hakan Yumusaklar, who is sticking with Baltimore.
Another near-unanimous pick comes in Norman, where nine of eleven Legends are backing Ole Miss to bounce back after last week’s loss at Georgia. Only Keith Vesper and Nate Blackstun are siding with the Sooners to cover at home.
It is another jam-packed football weekend with plenty of great matchups on tap. The Legends have spoken, and now it is time to see who stays hot and who cools off.
