NFL Week 11 Power Rankings: Broncos and Jaguars Rise, Chiefs and Chargers Slide

Published on

Week 11 of the NFL season has now wrapped up, so it is time for another ranking of all 32 teams. At this point in the year, fans basically know who these teams are. We know which teams are true contenders and which ones are waiting for draft season. Heading into Week 12, here is how the league is shaping up.

32. Tennessee Titans (1-9)

Weekly Change: Neutral

To nobody’s surprise, the Titans lost again this week, although they kept it close.

31. New York Jets (2-8)

Weekly Change: Neutral

The Jets fell again this week in unsurprising fashion. Justin Fields was finally benched, so maybe Tyrod Taylor can give this team a spark.

30. Las Vegas Raiders (2-8)

Weekly Change: Neutral

The Raiders are right there with the Jets and Titans. The offense could not get anything going against a below average Cowboys defense. It may be surprising to hear, but there is a real possibility Pete Carroll may not survive the year in Las Vegas

29. Washington Commanders (3-8)

Weekly Change: Neutral

The Commanders simply look defeated at this point. A Marcus Mariota led offense is not proving fruitful, and the defense has been poor. A tough season for their fans.

28. Cleveland Browns (2-8)

Weekly Change: Down 3

No matter how dominant Myles Garrett is, the Browns still find ways to lose. Shedeur Sanders saw playing time this week but struggled badly.

27. New York Giants (2-9)

Weekly Change: Neutral

Jameis Winston nearly pulled off an upset against the Packers but came up short. Jaxson Dart should be back soon, which will at least make Giants games more watchable.

26. New Orleans Saints (2-8)

Weekly Change: Up 2

The Saints were on bye this week. A winnable game against Atlanta awaits.

25. Atlanta Falcons (3-7)

Weekly Change: Neutral

A devastating week for Atlanta. They lost in dramatic fashion and lost starting QB Michael Penix Jr. for the season. The year has unraveled quickly, and Raheem Morris may be in trouble.

24. Cincinnati Bengals (3-7)

Weekly Change: Neutral

The Bengals were dominated by Pittsburgh in a game where the offense never found a rhythm. Their playoff hopes are effectively finished. No reason to push Joe Burrow back now.

23. Arizona Cardinals (3-7)

Weekly Change: Down 1

Arizona was blown out again, this time by the 49ers. Hard to imagine Jonathan Gannon returning next year, and Kyler Murray may be next out the door.

22. Miami Dolphins (4-7)

Weekly Change: Up 1

Miami picked up an ugly win in Madrid over the Commanders. They have bounced back from a rough start and now look like a borderline average team.

21. Carolina Panthers (6-5)

Weekly Change: Neutral

Carolina won a crucial game against Atlanta behind the best performance of Bryce Young’s season. If Young continues to play this well, the Panthers could sneak into the playoffs.

20. Dallas Cowboys (4-5-1)

Weekly Change: Down 1

Dallas handled its business against the Raiders. The offense looked sharp, and the defense showed up.

19. Minnesota Vikings (4-6)

Weekly Change: Down 2

Minnesota is completely held back by the play of J. J. McCarthy. The defense is doing what it can, but the offense struggles to reach 20 points most weeks.

18. Chicago Bears (7-3)

Weekly Change: Neutral

I know they are 7-3, and many will rank them much higher, but I still cannot get behind this Bears team. They keep pulling out close wins in miraculous fashion, and I do not trust it to hold up. This week’s opponent, the Aaron Rodgers-less Steelers, probably won’t expose them either.

17. Los Angeles Chargers (7-4)

Weekly Change: Down 4

One of the worst performances of the season by any team. The offensive line is collapsing, and Justin Herbert is under siege every snap.

16. Jacksonville Jaguars (6-4)

Weekly Change: Up 4

Jacksonville looked fantastic against the Chargers. They are firmly in the AFC playoff picture and could be a real threat if they play like this consistently.

15. Pittsburgh Steelers (6-4)

Weekly Change: Neutral

Pittsburgh continues to hover in the middle of these rankings. It was a nice bounce back after last week’s disaster, but not enough to consider them a real playoff threat.

14. San Francisco 49ers (7-4)

Weekly Change: Up 2

With Brock Purdy back, the offense looked the best it has all year. Ricky Pearsall returning this week also helps, and Brandon Aiyuk could be next, making the 49ers dangerous as the playoffs approach.

13. Houston Texans (5-5)

Weekly Change: Up 1

Another win for Houston behind Davis Mills. A tough matchup with Buffalo awaits, but the Texans are very much alive in the playoff race after a sluggish start.

12. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (6-4)

Weekly Change: Down 2

Tampa Bay fell to another top team. The offense is fine, but the defense must improve to stay competitive. A tough game against the Rams is next.

11. Baltimore Ravens (5-5)

Weekly Change: Neutral

Baltimore toughed out an ugly win against Cleveland. After a rough 1-5 start, the Ravens have climbed back into the AFC mix. Fellow AFC squads should be getting nervous.

10. Kansas City Chiefs (5-5)

Weekly Change: Down 4

The Chiefs look lost in close games. The offense is stale, the defense is inconsistent, and there is a real possibility they miss the playoffs.

9. New England Patriots (9-2)

Weekly Change: Neutral

The Patriots took care of business again. The rematch with Buffalo for the AFC East could be a classic.

8. Green Bay Packers (6-3-1)

Weekly Change: Neutral

Green Bay survived the Giants. Jordan Love played well, and the defense did enough. They face Minnesota before their Thanksgiving showdown with Detroit.

7. Denver Broncos (9-2)

Weekly Change: Up 5

Denver picked up a massive win against Kansas City, likely swinging the AFC West. The Broncos are in prime position for the AFC’s number one seed.

6. Indianapolis Colts (8-2)

Weekly Change: Up 1

Indianapolis was on bye. A critical matchup against Kansas City is next.

5. Detroit Lions (6-4)

Weekly Change: Down 2

Detroit lost a competitive game to the Eagles with constant pressure on Jared Goff. A playoff rematch between these two teams would be fascinating.

4. Seattle Seahawks (7-3)

Weekly Change: Neutral

Despite four brutal Sam Darnold interceptions, Seattle nearly beat the Rams. The defense held an explosive offense to 21 points and under 300 total yards, which is impressive.

3. Buffalo Bills (7-3)

Weekly Change: Up 2

Buffalo looked unstoppable against Tampa Bay. Josh Allen accounted for six touchdowns in a 44-32 win.

2. Philadelphia Eagles (8-2)

Weekly Change: Neutral

Philadelphia ground out another tough win, this time over Detroit. The defense might be the best in the league, and as long as the offense scores around 20 points, the Eagles will win most contests.

1. Los Angeles Rams (8-2)

Weekly Change: Neutral

It was not always pretty, but the Rams survived a feisty Seattle team to hold the top spot. This is the most complete team in the league right now.
