Week 10 of the NFL season is in the books, and with Thanksgiving approaching, the playoff picture is starting to take shape. Teams are getting desperate, and every win (or loss) carries more weight as the season nears its stretch run.
Here is how the league stacks up heading into Week 11:
32. Tennessee Titans (1-8)
Weekly Change: Neutral
The Titans were on a bye this week, which was probably a blessing for NFL fans.
31. New York Jets (2-7)
Weekly Change: Neutral
Despite the win, the Jets stay put in these rankings. Two special teams touchdowns were the only reason they pulled it off. Winning while throwing for just 54 passing yards is almost impressive in its own way.
30. Las Vegas Raiders (2-7)
Weekly Change: Down 2
The Raiders somehow stayed competitive against Denver, but they still looked awful overall. This team is becoming tough to watch.
29. Washington Commanders (3-7)
Weekly Change: Down 3
Washington’s season has unraveled. The defense is porous, and without Jayden Daniels, the offense cannot keep up. Sadly for their fans, it is time to look toward next season because this one is over.
28. New Orleans Saints (2-8)
Weekly Change: Up 2
The Saints picked up a surprising win over Carolina. Tyler Shough looked sharp in just his second start, and the defense shut down a usually effective Panthers rushing attack.
27. New York Giants (2-8)
Weekly Change: Up 2
The Giants found another way to lose a game they could have won, and head coach Brian Daboll was fired as a result. Maybe that change will light a spark.
26. Cleveland Browns (2-7)
Weekly Change: Down 1
The Browns should have beaten the Jets, but once again found a way to lose. Expect Cleveland to linger around this range the rest of the season.
25. Atlanta Falcons (3-6)
Weekly Change: Down 2
Atlanta’s season feels finished. Michael Penix Jr. continues to struggle, the defense remains inconsistent, and Raheem Morris may soon find himself on the hot seat.
24. Cincinnati Bengals (3-6)
Weekly Change: Neutral
Cincinnati was on bye, but there’s finally some good news: Joe Burrow returned to practice. While their defense is still a big issue and Joe Flacco has filled in admirably, it will be interesting to see what Burrow’s return could mean for this team and the divisional race down the stretch.
23. Miami Dolphins (3-7)
Weekly Change: Up 4
Miami pulled off the upset of the week, taking down Buffalo 30-13. The Dolphins looked dangerous, and while I’m still not a believer, they have the chance to build a real win streak with their upcoming schedule.
22. Arizona Cardinals (3-6)
Weekly Change: Down 1
Arizona was blown out by Seattle in a rough showing. While they seem to stay competitive in most games, I just don’t see this team finishing with more than five wins.
21. Carolina Panthers (5-5)
Weekly Change: Down 1
Carolina remains one of the most confusing teams in football. One week they win at Green Bay, the next they lose at home to a bottom feeding Saints team.
20. Jacksonville Jaguars (5-4)
Weekly Change: Down 3
The Jaguars somehow blew a 19-point fourth-quarter lead to a Texans team playing its backup quarterback. That loss is unacceptable and could haunt them come playoff time.
19. Dallas Cowboys (3-5-1)
Weekly Change: Up 3
Dallas moves up despite being on bye. A matchup with the Raiders this week should be a good opportunity to build momentum.
18. Chicago Bears (6-3)
Weekly Change: Up 1
Even at 6-3, it is hard to trust this Bears team. They keep finding ways to escape with wins against weaker opponents. The next four games against the Vikings, Steelers, Eagles, and Packers will give them a real chance to prove themselves. For now, skepticism feels justified.
17. Minnesota Vikings (4-5)
Weekly Change: Up 1
Minnesota played Baltimore tough but fell short. J.J. McCarthy’s up-and-down play continues to define their season.
16. San Francisco 49ers (6-4)
Weekly Change: Neutral
San Francisco was no match for the Rams this week. The defense is depleted, and the passing offense can only do so much without Brandon Aiyuk and Ricky Pearsall. A game against Arizona offers a chance to rebound in the win column.
15. Pittsburgh Steelers (5-4)
Weekly Change: Down 3
The Steelers looked lost against the Chargers. The passing game remains a disaster because, outside of D.K. Metcalf, this team simply lacks reliable receiving options.
14. Houston Texans (4-5)
Weekly Change: Up 1
Houston’s win over Jacksonville was impressive, especially without C.J. Stroud. Even if he misses another week, they should handle the Titans.
13. Los Angeles Chargers (7-3)
Weekly Change: Up 1
The Chargers took care of business against Pittsburgh. The offensive line is still a concern, but this team continues to find ways to win.
12. Denver Broncos (8-2)
Weekly Change: Down 2
Despite the record, Denver hasn’t looked impressive in recent weeks. A 10-7 win over the lowly Raiders doesn’t inspire much confidence. A matchup with Kansas City on Sunday should reveal where they truly stand.
11. Baltimore Ravens (4-5)
Weekly Change: Up 2
Baltimore is finally finding their rhythm again and are climbing back into the AFC picture, which should scare other teams in the playoff mix. The Ravens of old might just be back.
10. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (6-3)
Weekly Change: Down 1
Tampa Bay fell just short against a strong New England team. Getting Bucky Irving and Chris Godwin back healthy will be key for their stretch run.
9. New England Patriots (8-2)
Weekly Change: Up 2
The Patriots keep proving doubters wrong. Drake Maye continues to impress in his sophomore campaign, and New England looks like a legitimate contender.
8. Green Bay Packers (5-3-1)
Weekly Change: Down 1
Green Bay’s offense is sputtering. Jordan Love has struggled, and the receiving corps is banged up. The defense will keep them in games, but the offense needs to step up quickly.
7. Indianapolis Colts (8-2)
Weekly Change: Down 1
The Colts narrowly escaped Atlanta in overtime, and Daniel Jones has now had back-to-back average outings. A bye week comes at the perfect time.
6. Kansas City Chiefs (5-4)
Weekly Change: Down 2
Kansas City was on bye. A massive matchup with the Broncos looms this week.
5. Buffalo Bills (6-3)
Weekly Change: Down 2
After dominating Kansas City, Buffalo stumbled in a surprising loss to Miami. It is not panic time, but it is definitely a setback, and this team remains one of the more inconsistent frontrunners in the league right now.
4. Seattle Seahawks (7-2)
Weekly Change: Up 4
Seattle continues to roll, routing the Cardinals 44-22. Their showdown with the Rams on Sunday will decide first place in the NFC West as the stretch run begins.
3. Detroit Lions (6-3)
Weekly Change: Up 2
Detroit handled business against Washington, and the offense looked electric again. Their upcoming matchup with Philadelphia is one of the games of the week and could go a long way toward determining playoff seeding and positioning.
2. Philadelphia Eagles (7-2)
Weekly Change: Neutral
The Eagles survived an ugly win over Green Bay. The offense will have to play much better to beat Detroit on Sunday.
1. Los Angeles Rams (7-2)
Weekly Change: Neutral
The Rams remain atop this list thanks to Matthew Stafford, who is squarely in the MVP conversation. Their matchup with Seattle will be must watch and could determine who sits atop these rankings next week.
